PEO Radiation Technology evaluates electro-magnetic fields (EMF) (’10)
PEO Radiation Technology evaluates electro-magnetic fields (EMF) according to radiation standards of ICNIRP, The Health Council of the Netherlands and the European guideline 2004/40/EG
The evaluation of work conditions in relation to exposure to electromagnetic fields starts with the risk assessment and evaluation. The risk assessment and evaluation done by PEO is determined by exposure, interpretation of data and / or calculation and taking action. All measured values are checked upon the ICNIRP radiation standards. These standards are also included in the European Regulatory directive 2004/40/EG ( 2,5MB, 2004).
electro magnetic field measurements
Conducting electromagnetic field measurements and reports is an expertise and service of PEO.
electro magnetic field calculation
PEO field calculations are carried out when you are planning equipment expansion or to inform your employees. These calculations are done to measure potential interference on equipment and / or health and safety reasons. When you are interested in field calculations, PEO would like to discuss the options with you.
The Labour Inspectorate Holland has launched a project for ARBO standards identification at power stations. In this identification of EMF is included.
From direct contact with The Labour Inspectorate Holland PEO developed a report concept for measuring a risk assessment for employees in relation to the magnetic induction field.
After the evaluation PEO advises you whether measurements are necessary.
