CT SIM+™ with RapidSIM™ – Sun Nuclear
MOVEABLE LASERS FOR PET/CT SIMULATION
The CT SIM plus ™ moveable laser system is designed from the ground up to support your PET/CT Simulation workflow. The system has unmatched precision and accuracy that provide enhanced confidence for patient safety.
The CT SIM+ laser system has a modern and unassuming design, so it fits in seamlessly in your clinical space. Especially when it is combined with the accessible RapidSIM software, it allows your team to work unimpeded by physical or technological barriers.
ACCURACY
CT SIM plus offers accuracy at the patient of +/- 0,5 mm. Subsequently, CT SIM+ offers precision and flexibility. The laser system offers such accuracy because of the laser line widths of less than 0,5 mm for all colours, and because of the industry-leading lengths of more than four meters at three meters.
AUTOMATION AND WORKFLOW OPTIMIZATION
The included RapidSIM™ software allows seamless laser connectivity to the CT simulation package or TPS. The software is also compatible with all major third-party systems. RapidSIM reads coordinates and directs lasers for accurate identification of the patient marking and treatment location.
FLEXIBLE LEVELS OF AUTOMATION
RapidSIM supports three levels of automation, personalised to suit your needs.
- IsoDRIVE mode retrieves TPS coordinates and automatically moves the lasers into position. The IsoLOCK feature provides visual confirmation that the lasers are at the desired position.
- DICOM mode allows single point selection, driven by the user.
- Manual mode allows the user to manually enter coordinate information.
CT SIM plus CONFIGURATIONS
This system doesn’t only have flexible automation, but it’s also flexible in configurations. There are three options:

After you’ve chosen a configuration, you can also choose wether you want the scanners attached to the walls, or if you want posts.
